Pictured above is Wranger by
Wradar out of Pilar by Pikoer ridden by Gerhard Ablinger at
Tempel Farm, IL. He was bred by Deb Davenport and owned by Erin Boltik.
Erin says that as well as his success at the dressage shows "...this
Wradar offspring proves his talent at home schooling the beginnings of all
FEI movements and shows no signs of slowing down in his progression
towards Grand Prix. We are thrilled with him!" At the Lamplight, IL
show he was Reserve Champion at Second Level with a 69%. In the 2008
Preliminary USDF All-Breeds Awards standings he is currently in 3rd place
at Second Level with a median score of 65.596. Congratulations

This is Wradar Love by Wradar
out of Dublette owned by Robyn Rosser, who writes:
"...This
is the first warmblood I’ve ever owned and I will never own anything else
from now on. Wradar Love aka “Hero” is the best thing that has ever
happened to me. I am an amateur rider and wanted to purchase a
horse that
was quiet and capable of doing the ‘A’ rated Hunter circuit in Virginia
(which apparently is a difficult task because I looked for well over a
year!). I did not know much about Oldenburgs before I purchased this horse
but Hero teaches me something new everyday. Hero and I have been able to
learn from each other and progress rapidly. Everyone in my barn is jealous
of his amazing trot. His personality could not be anymore good natured and
for that he has quickly become a barn favorite. I am so grateful that your
farm has such wonderful animals and I am so thankful for the newest member
to my family. "
In a more recent update from Robyn:
"Just wanted to
update you on “Hero” (Wradar Love), he is such a fabulous horse! Hero has
been to 4 horse shows this year and was champion in the pleasure at 3 of
those shows. He has pinned in every over fences class and was reserve
champion in the Low Hunter at another show. I tell everyone that he is the
best thing that has ever happened to me. Since I purchased him in 2005, 4
other boarders in our barn have bought warmbloods. He is a trendsetter!
Once again – thank you for your wonderful breeding!

No
photos yet, but I got this lovely note from Kelsea Askew last week
(June 08):
"I purchased a Wradar baby last year named Wrosebud. I just
wanted to let you know how pleased I am with her. She is one of the
most quiet, intelligent and gentle horses I have worked with. I
bought her when she was 4 and moved her to my barn in Dallas. The
barn is right in the middle of the city, with heavy traffic and lots
of noise and NOTHING phases her. Even as a young horse, she is even
tempered and not spooky. I can only imagine what an incredible
stallion Wradar is to work with. We started her out as an event
horse, but ... (now) compete in dressage.
She has been hi point champion at every show she's been to so far! I
look forward to having more horses out of Wradar in the future, and
I highly recommend his offspring to everyone wanting a horse with
talent, temperament, and rideability."
Thank you Kelsea and we hope to see a photo soon - watch this space!

qualify for
Championship at Morven Park, VA in fall. Our friends could not believe that it was his first
event
he was so COOL about everything. He is a wonderful
horse..."
