 2006 Highlights:

Our own Roccoca WF, by Rienzi and out of Turteltaubchen, ridden by Verena,  was Reserve Champion USEF 4 year old at the Young Horse Dressage National Championships in KY, September 9.  Her score of 8.7 included 9 for Submission and 9.4 for General Impression.  The Judges commented: "This is a lovely mare with lots of potential. She has been started in the right way and has a clear, correct rhythm with good reach in all three gaits."  Roccoca WF was also Champion Mare and Champion in the Mare Performance Test at our recent Hanoverian Inspections.

Also at the Hanoverian Inspections - Deryn Stewart's mare, D'Erin, (Der Radetzky/Akelei/Adlerfarn) was entered into the Main Stud Book and is Elite Eligible; and Laurie's Solei passed her Mare Performance Test and is now an Elite Mare and also accepted into the new Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Jane Sommers whose filly by Regazzoni out of Tequini by Frohwind was top filly of the Starr Vaughn ISR/ Oldenburg inspections in California with a score of 8.3 Tequini was bred by Woodridge Farm and is a full sister to Tequini

Congratulations to Mariah Crumbaker on her first showing of 4 year old Arkadia (Arrian/Davignon) at the GCC show September 30 and on winning her first Training Level class with 69%

At that same show, was 3 year old  Allouette (Arrian/Wolkenstein II) owned and ridden by Amanda Edwards who swept the Intro Classes on October 1 with scores to 75%

Another recent Arrian offspring highlight to report is from Virginia Tech, whose 2006 bay gelding by Arrian, Alfa Romeo, was named Premium foal and Champion Colt at their ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection site on September 23. VT reports: "He received scores of 8.1 for conformation/type, 8.2 for movement and 8.2 overall, and a final score of 8.2. He is out of our Dutch mare Hearsay (Roemer/War Drums xx).  He has a great personality and we are quite pleased with him! See a video clip at: http://www.equine.vt.edu/romeo.wmv

Congratulations to Lillian and Eskild Reinhold on their filly
Fidelia (Frohwind x Rubelita by Rohdiamant) who received her Premium  award at the Verband inspection at Sport Horse International. She also won her weanling class at Cool August Show at LAEC. She is owned by  and shown by Ludger Thole.

Thanks to Beth Villery for sending photos of her recently purchased 5 yo mare Cinnamon, by Frohwind. She won the Training Level Championship in September at the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society Championship show at Colorado Horse Park against 21 other horses with a 69.7%. She was ridden by Annie Morris.

Congratulations to Megan Britt, of Becker, MN who just got back from Arab Youth Nationals and writes "...we had one of the best rides I have ever had on him at a show. We got a score of 66.923% and got into the Top Ten. We were the youngest horse in the Top Ten and won a three-way tie and finished 8th". Megan and Altan,  a Der Radetzky grandson pictured above, also scored 62% in First Level Test 4 to beat their personal best.

Congratulations to Anthea Kin and her colt, Finnian, who was named Premium Colt at the GOV inspections in Manhattan, KS. Finnian is by Frohwind out of Verlieben by Varius.

Congratulations to Merne Hayes, who's mare Emma, by Wradar was Champion Mare at our Oldenburg Inspections, winning both the Mare Performance Test with 80 points and the Mare Inspections with a whopping 114 points! Kassandra by Wradar owned by April Horne was Reserve Ch. in MPT with 78 and jumping scores of 8.5/9. Amaya by Frohwind, owned by Lisa Fox was also given premium award and passed MPT with 71.8 points.and was also awarded Premium Mare.  Frohwind was the sire of the Champion Filly - owned and bred by Leigh Ellen Lafferty; and of the Champion Colt - owned and bred by Fairview Farm. Congratulations to Lisa Fox and Amaya (Frohwind/Anja) who went to their first recognized dressage show this weekend - the ODS Spring Show in Shawnee, OK.  Lisa and Amaya scored a 75% for their Training Level on Sunday earning the High Point Amateur award and the Bob Pape Memorial Trophy.

Congratulations also to Amanda Bailey and Wray (Wradar/TB). They went to their first show in May in Tunica and Amanda says: 
"I showed him in Training Level Test 4 both days. He was star!. He got 70% Saturday and 69.6% on Sunday. He received the highest score of any open ride on Saturday, and qualified for ABIC and SWDC Championships." Wray was bred by Diana Smith, AR.

Dr. Evelin Schlotmann writes " The best foal was the filly by Resonanz/Frohwind - a foal that was very self-assured, very expressive and with good trot mechanics"  Night Flight's owner/breeder is Micki Griffith.

 2005 Highlights:

Fiero (Frohwind/Kianti) owned by Jane Clements, WI was Reserve Champion in the 2yo Colt/Gelding USDF All-Breeds Awards for 2005

French Henry won the NABF (North American Breeders Futurity) for 4 year olds at Devon in 2005!  Congratulations to owner Sharon Zaidins, Dallas,TX and rider Sabine Schut-Kerry.  This was a great finish to a very successful first year of this team's showing with scores to 77.69% at Training Level.  French Henry is by Frohwind out of Double Feature and a full brother to Double Entendre (below).

Double Entendre (Frohwind/Baron) was in Kentucky Sept 9-11, where she qualified for the 5yo FEI Young Horse Finals and was First Level High Point of the MSEDA show with 75.55%. The following  weekend she went to her first CDE at Longview and won the Training Level Division. She also won ribbons for receiving the best dressage score and the best overall score of all divisions. "Angel" finished the year as Champion at First Level in the USDF All-Breeds Awards/Oldenburg

Congratulations to Sue Skeweris, shown above with Der Radetzky Moonbeam, aka "Beamer" on their successful 2 years.  She has qualified for two years in a row for the region 1 championships GIAG's and the BLM's.  She placed in the top 1/3 each year as a 4 and 5 year old.  She won the reserve Maryland state Dressage show
series in the training level 4 with a high score of 68.9%

Champion colt at our inspections this year with a score of 8.2 was Fanfare - by Frohwind out of Solei (Silvio/Greenhorn) Congratulations to owner Laurie Hedlund. Reserve Champion colt was by Wradar out of the Arabian mare Gai Ann by Knaanwar Falcon - also with a score of 8.2. Congratulations to owner and breeder Roberta Robinson. Champion Filly was our own Tecate - by Arrian out of Tequila (Frohwind/Tin Rocco) with 8.3. Reserve Champion Filly with 8.2 was Double Take - another lovely filly by Frohwind out of Double Feature.

Congratulations to Jana Babusczczak and Remington (out of Super Girl xx) on their success at the Laborious Day Show in Houston.  They were Reserve Champion High Point with 68.5% on the Saturday and High Point Champion Sunday with 71%

This 2 year old is Future Image by Frohwind bred by Tracy Ammons, DVM and owned by Dona Hoffman.  In June he won the Half-Arabian Sport Horse in Hand 3YO & Under at the Virginia Arabian Show and then went on to win the Half-Arabian East Coast Champion Sport Horse In-Hand Geldings at the the East Coast Regionals. Watch for him at the Nationals in Lexington, VA in September.

Congratulations to Denise Laigle and Danzig on their 4th level debut in Colorado last week. On Saturday he was 2nd at 4-1 and 1st place at 4-2 and Reserve Champion for 4th level. Sunday he tied for 1st at 4-1 66.9% and took 1st at 4-2 66.2%. and was Reserve Champion again for 4th level. Danzig WF is an RPSI approved stallion by Der Radetzky out of EM Goodie Two Shoes.

Congratulations to Cyndi Craig and her lovely 4 year old pinto Frohwind daughter, Fling (photo above by Equigraphics).   Last weekend she scored at 72.2 at T1 and a 68.8 at T2  at a large 2-ring schooling show in Houston and was Training Level Champion.  (next photo). Her second show this year was 4/04 and she won T2 and T4 with scores to 72%. This June Fling made her First Level Debut and was High Point in the entire Amateur Division with 65.5%. New report from Cyndi - Fling won all four of her classes at the July 23/24 Houston show! They are having quite a year - WTG ! Fling ended the year in 4th place at Training Level in the USDF All Breeds Awards - ISR

Congratulations to Michael Miller and his Arrian daughter, Avril, who was Champion Mare both days at the Cedar Trace USDF Sport Horse Show and Finals Qualifier 

Katianne (Frohwind/Katrona) owned and ridden by Kathy Hoyt,  was 3rd in the USDF All Breeds Awards - Oldenburg at Training Level with a median score of 67.308, and our own Double Entendre (Frohwind/Double Feature) was 1st with 71.538%

Congratulations to Ann Webber and her 4 year old Wingover (Wradar/Katianne) who was 2004 Region 9 Training Level Champion with 77%

Danzig WF (Der Radetzky/EM Goodie Two Shoes) owned and ridden by Denise Laigle was 1st at Second Level in the USDF All Breeds Awards - RPSI and 14th USDF Horse of the Year with a median score of 68.421

       

We took Ferragamma (Werther/Grusus/Bolero) and Double Entendre (Frohwind/Baron) to the MSEDA I and II show in Lexington Kentucky September 10-12 and we couldn't have been more pleased with their performance in the dressage classes.  Between them, they won seven out of seven classes. Ferragamma with scores to 74.118% and Double Entendre won the Training Level High Point both shows with 73.846% and 71.154%! WTG girls! 


Deb Davenport's 2 year old Arrian daughter Arkadia out of the lovely Destine (Donnerhall) has been busy at the breed shows this year. She was Reserve Filly Champion, Reserve Young Horse Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in Nebraska ;  Reserve Filly Champion and the Hanoverian IBC class winner in Kansas City; Filly Champion, Young Horse Champion, and Reserve Grand Champion at the West Central Qualifier and Filly Champion at the USDF West Central Regional Finals in Iowa. Deb says: "Best of all, she's become a show horse - taking all the prep and show ground bustle in stride".  

Congratulations to Donna Hoffman, who's Frohwind colt Future Image went to his first show - the "A" rated Virginia Arabian Horse Show, and qualified for regionals. Her won the Half-Arabian geldings Open 3 & under class and was Reserve Champion in the Half-Arabian Open Division of the show. In the Amateur to Handle Division he got a 72and placed 3rd, despite the fact that he was the youngest one there. Kudos also to the breeder, Tracy Ammons, DVM of Southern Breeze Sporthorses

Our own Double Entendre(Frohwind/Baron) was Training Level Champion at the Wild West I Show in Tulsa in June - her very first dressage show. She scored 73% at Training 2 and 76.5% at Training Level 4!

At the same show Ferragamma(Werther/Grusus) won the FEI 5 year old Test with 7.7 and also was first in her First Level Test 4 class.

Congratulations  to Denise Laigle who won her Second Level Test with 73% aboard her 6 year old Der Radetzky stallion, Danzig. Danzig is a half sister to Ferragamma (above) out of the same dam - EM Goodie Two Shoes.

Congratulations also to Kathy Hoyt and Katiane (Frohwind/Kadett) who won her Training Level class with 73% WTG!

Congratulations to Ann Webber and her 4 year old gelding, Wingover's first big show. He was 2nd or 3rd in all his classes with scores to 72.308% in Training Level Test 4- Open at the DDC Show, Las Colinas May 15/16. Wings was bred by Woodridge Farm and is by Wradar out of Katiane (Frohwind/Katrona).

Katiane - Wingover's dam, owned and ridden by Kathy Hoyt also competed at the DDC show and won Training Level Test 2 - Am with 66.538% (out of 15 horses) and was also 1st placed at Training Level Test 4 - Am with 68.462% out of SEVENTEEN horses!  Congratulations Kathy! Katiane was bred by Woodridge Farm by Frohwind out of Katrona by Roland.

Also at the DDC show was Eclipse by Der Radetzky owned and ridden by Mary Hawkins. Eclipse was 2nd in Second Level Test 1 - Am with 63.158% and 3rd in Second Level Test 4 - Am with 62.549%

Our own Remington (Romantic Star/Star Regent xx/Garibaldi), 4 year old Hanoverian gelding,  won all four of his Training Level classes at the ODS Spring Show May 1/2 with all scores in the 70's. He was High Point Training Level -Open horse on Sunday with 73+%.

Ferragamma (Werther/Grusus/Bolero), also owned and bred by Woodridge Farm won three of her four classes at First Level including First Level - Open High Point Champion on Saturday with 73.33% at the same show.

D'Erin (Der Radetzky/Akelei/Adlerfarn I) bred by Woodridge Farm and owned by Deryn Stewart, Ponca City was High Point Training Level horse with 73.462% at her first recognized show at the ODS Spring II, May 2.

Congratulations also to Nancy Litsch on her first recognized show with Fancy That (Frohwind/Brissta/Banter). This pair won Training Level Test 1 and 2 - Am and was 2nd in another class. A great beginning!

 Congratulations to Kathy von Ertfelder, MA on her recent purchase of  Wiebok, above, by Wradar out of Wiebekin. Ridden by Lori Barrett, he was the High Scorer of the day at the 2003 Region 9 Championships with 76% in the FEI 5YO Test. He also won the Oldenburg High Point Award at the Championships show.

Fandango and Lambada
Congratulations to Anne Sanders whose colt by Frohwind, Fandango out of Lambada won the Colts of 2003 class at the USDFBC qualifier September 26. He was also the Reserve Champion Colt/Gelding - qualifying for the Finals where he was third. 
Lambada won the Mare class and Champion Mature horse at the qualifier and was Champion Mare in the Finals.

Congratulations to Marefield Meadows, owner and breeder of Andromanche (Arrian/EM Lorelei/Lortzing) who scored a 7.0 at her inspection at Hilton Farm, VA, and 7.33 in her Mare Performance Test (with two 8's on jumping!) to become an Elite Mare Candidate. At the Morven Park Sport Horse Breed Show EMC Andromanche won the Three Year Old Fillies class and went on to become Filly Reserve Champion. This lovely mare was also 2nd place in the USDF SDHB Materiale class.

Congratulations to Nancy Walk and Franky by Frohwind, who won his very first class at his first recognized show! He scored 71.8% at Training Level Test 1 to top the field of 13 horses.

Congratulations to Kim Ennett and her continued success with the broodmare Liaisonne (Frohwind)she purchased from us. This year, her colt by Ideal won 1st Place in his Colts of 2003 class at both Waterloo, MI and Delaware, OH, then went on to win Grand Champion at the Cosequin/USDF Breeders Championships Finals in Kentucky.

Congratulations also to Joyce Porter, Austin, TX whose 2002 filly,  Double Scotch, (Wradar/Der Radetzky/Frohwind) and 2003 full brother Wromeo and their success at the recent Breeders' Extravaganza in Austin.  The first day, Wromeo won the the Colt Championships and went on to become CHAMPION YOUNG HORSE. On Sunday, Wromeo was again Champion Young Horse, and Double Scotch was Champion Filly and Reserve Champion Young Horse!  Both youngsters went on to the USDF Regional Championships in September and Wromeo was Reserve Colt Champion (with a score of 80% from Hilda Gurney). The above photo is Double Scotch winning Champion Young Horse last year - we're looking forward to seeing the new photos! 
Wromeo was Reserve Champion USDF Colts of 2003 Horse of the Year Awards.

Our own Duvalier, by Der Radetzky, won the High Point Hanoverian Award at the Columbia, Mo show in July with 74.645%. He was also Training Level Reserve Champion over the 3 days - and this was his very first show!

Congratulations to Kate Raynolds on the success of her Der Radetzky daughter, Deb Radetzky, at her first recognized show June 28 and 29 in Tulsa.  She won all four of her classes under trainer Anthea Kin with scores to 71.4%!


Also, Kate's Frohwind daughter (above) out of Anja was Champion Filly at the USDF/Cosequin Mid-States Finals. Amaya is owned by Kate and daughter, Lisa Chipman.

Paula Walker's Ferguson by Frohwind and the last foal of our Wiebke was Reserve Champion Colt at the Mid States Finals.  In the Qualifier, Ferguson was First in the 2 yo Colts and Geldings Class, Champion Colts/Geldingd and Reserve Champion Young Horse.

Well done Denise Laigle and her 5 year old stallion son of Der Radetzky, Danzig WF. They had a very successful first year of showing in 2002 and have started this year out well too. Danzig competed at the FEI Young Horse Championships at Paxton Farm and also qualified for the US Young Horse Championships at Gladstone.  In June they won both classes in Second Level at the Tulsa show - Test 1 with 69.717% and Test 2 with 65

Congratulations to Sari Jokitulppo, new owner of Destinie by Der Radetzky out of Frohlichkeit by Wertherson. Destinie won the Hanoverian High Score Award at the DDC Show May 10th. It was her very first dressage show!

Our own Arriana by Arrian out of Lyvia (Lemon Park/Bolero) won the Training Level High Point Award at the ODS Spring I and First Level High Point Award at the ODS Spring II, on May 3rd/4th in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Arriana also was awarded the Oklahoma Dressage Society 2003 Horse of the Year and was Champion at Training and First Level

Dominick, a beautiful stallion son of Der Radetzky owned by Chuck and Sheila Verdon, had another exciting year. He debuted at Second Level with scores in the 70's and won Champion Stallion, Champion Mature Horse and show Champion at the Lake Oswego Dressage. He was also the Reserve Champion

SD Dartanian by Frohwind, owned by Dr. Patricia Clarke was the  2001 USAEq Dressage National Champion - Half Arabian for 2001

SD Dartanian by Frohwind, owned by Dr. Patricia Clarke was the  2002 USAEq Region 11 Champion Half Arabian Dressage and Reserve Champion Half Arabian Hunter Pleasure- Amateur. In the National USAEq Championships, SD Dartanian was Reserve Champion Hunter Pleasure - Amateur and third in Dressage.

...and to Virginia Celaya who owns Wiebok - a four year old from Wradar's first foal crop out of Wiebekin (Der Radetzky/Werther).  Wiebok was 6th in the Training Level - Open Division of the Southwest Dressage Championships under Sandra Guerra-Lindenbe. And this was only his second show!

She had a beautiful filly, Double Scotch, which Joyce and her "Green Team" took to the USDF Breeder's Extravaganza in Austin. Double Scotch won the Fillies of 2002 Class and then went on to win the Filly Championship - both days!  Double Scotch placed 3rd in the USDF Breeders Championships Finals and 5th in the USDF 2002 Fillies, nationally!

Congratulations to Rachel Mocsney, IN on the success of Wradiance, her yearling filly by Wradar at the MSEDA Fall Breed Show, where she scored 77% from Hilda Guerney. Rachel says: "Wradiance is the friendliest horse in the barn...with a can do attitude".

Congratulations also to Kim Ennett, MI who bought Liaisonne (Frohwind/'Lil Lady Jxx) from us last year in foal to Wradar.  Liaisonne had a colt, Wunderstern, and Lisa and her husband took them both to the Dressage at Delaware breeders show in August. As a team Liaisonne and Wunderstern won 1st Place in their combination Broodmare and Foal Class. Liaisonne won 2nd Place in her 4 Yr Old and Older Broodmare Class and 3rd in Mare Championship and Mature Horse Championship classes in the USDFBC Qualifier. Wunderstern, at less than 10 weeks old, won 2nd Place Colts of 2002 and 3rd overall out of 21 horses in USDFBC Qualifier 0-3yr old Colt/Gelding Championship class.  Wunderstern also places 2nd in the Buckeye Weanling Futurity and actually brought home prize money!

Congratulations to Laurie Hedlund who is leasing our 3 year old mare, Wiebke II by Frohwind out of our beloved Werther/Darling mare. She won the Oldenburg Hi- Point Ribbon in the Individual Breed Class, as well as 3 year old sporthorse prospect; 2nd - 3 year old breeding prospect; and Reserve Champion Filly in the USDF/Cosequin qualifier at Sorensen Equestrian Park, WI She went one to win the 3-Y O Fillies class at Lamplight and was 6th place in the USDF/Cosequin Breeders Championships

Congratulations to Denise Laigle whose Der Radetzky son, Danzig, had a very successful first show at Shawnee this weekend. On Sunday he scored 69% in T2 and 70% in T3. Denise and Dan won High-Point Amateur Training Level Award on Sunday and the Bob Pape Memorial Trophy for High-Point Amateur Rider of the whole show. Danzig is a four year old stallion out of EM Goodie Two Shoes (Grusus/Bolero) shown here with Denise and Marty Haist of The Horse of Course presenting the trophy.
