WIEBEKIN – OLDENBURG MARE (also MSB Hanoverian)

Wiebekin (we call her E.T. as she was our first embryo transfer foal) is a lovely mare out of our beloved Elite Hanoverian mare, Wiebke.  Wiebekin competed in dressage, is a great jumper and was also my husband's driving horse for a while.  She has had three foals by Wradar, and one by Frohwind.   The first, Wiebok, as a five year old gelding, had the highest score of the Region 9  Championships in 2003 with 76% for the FEI 5yo Test. He is now owned by Kathy von Ertfelder in Massachussetts.  The second foal is a filly born March 2nd, 2003, Wiebella, who produced a premium foal by Wolkenglanz in 2007.  She is a wonderful mare to ride and reminds me very much of her grandmother. The 2004 foal is a gelding by Frohwind, now owned by Ann Vestel. Also grey, he is an outstanding mover with a very sweet temperament and destined for the jumper ring. In 2005 a filly by Wradar, Wiebekka - a full sister to Wiebella.   Our latest is a beautiful bay colt by Frohwind, born March 08.  E.T. will be bred to Escudo II for Cathy Balance, IL via our Custom Breeding program and will be available for outside breeding next in 2009. Even though she is by a  Hanoverian stallion out of an Elite Hanoverian mare, we had to register her Oldenburg, since the AHS did not allow registration of more than one foal a year by any mare at that time. She is however, approved for Hanoverian breeding and in their Main Stud Book.
