DOUBLE TAKE – OLDENBURG MARE Also Main Studbook American Hanoverian Society This lovely mare is the youngest daughter of Double Feature and one we have decided to keep for our breeding program. She was a Premium Foal with 8.3 for conformation and 8.2 overall score. In 2009 Double Take was accepted into the American Hanoverian Society's Main Stud Book. She scored exceptionally well during her Mare Performance Test, earning an overall 7.83. We think she will make a wonderful cross with Wradar or our new stallion, Deklan. We have lots of history on this breeding. Her oldest sister Dulcinae, is a jumper owned by Dana Polomski in CT. Her next oldest sister is Double Entendre, who is a great jumper and also was 2004 USDF All-Breeds Champion at Training Level, 2005 Champion at First Level and 2006 Reserve Champion at Second Level. She competed as a finalist at the FEI Young Horse National Championships for Five Year Olds in Kentucky in 2005, and is currently competing with my husband at the Intermediate Level in Combined Driving Events. Her brother, French Henry, was the winner of the North American Breeders Futurity for Four Year olds at Devon in 2005 and has been in the USDF All-Breeds Awards for the last couple of years with owner Sharon Zaidins. Her one year old sister, Double Scoop, was Champion Mare at the 2008 Oldenburg Inspections with 109 points and Premium Award. She was the second highest scorer in the entire MidWest. She also passed her Mare Performance Test with 73.3 points. In 2008 her dam and two full sisters (Double Entendre and Double Scoop) were presented to the American Hanoverian Society and were all accepted into their Main Stud Book.
